What TensorCut collects, why, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to delete.

This page describes what TensorCut collects, why, where it goes, and what you can ask us to do about it. It covers tensorcut.in and the accounts, quoting and order systems behind it.
1. What we collect
Because you gave it to us
- Account details — name, email address, password (stored hashed, never in readable form), and optionally your phone number, company name and GST number.
- Addresses — the delivery and billing addresses you save, including city, state and PIN code.
- Drawings — the CAD files you upload, and the geometry we derive from them.
- Messages — anything you send through the contact form, including files you attach, and email you send us directly.
Because the system produced it
- Quotes and orders — what you configured, what it was priced at, what you paid, and the status history of each order.
- Payment records — the payment identifier, amount, method and outcome returned by our payment provider. Card, UPI and bank credentials never reach TensorCut; they are entered on the payment provider's own form.
- Technical logs — the ordinary server records of requests to the site, retained for security and debugging.
2. Why we hold it

We do not sell your data. We do not use your drawings to train models, to market TensorCut, or for anything other than pricing and making your part.
3. Who else sees it
Manufacturing partners
To make your part, the fabrication partner assigned to your order receives the drawing and the specification. That is the point of the platform and it cannot be avoided. They receive what is needed to cut the job. Partners are independent businesses and are required to use what they receive only to fulfil the order.
Service providers
We use third parties to run the platform. Each sees only what its job requires:

Some of these operate infrastructure outside India. Where your information is processed abroad, it is under contractual terms requiring it to be protected to the standard described here.
Nobody else
Beyond those, we disclose personal information only where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
4. How long we keep it
- Account details — while your account is open, and then as long as we need them for the records below.
- Orders, invoices and payment records — retained for the period Indian tax and company law requires. These are financial records; we cannot delete them on request while that period runs.
- Uploaded drawings — kept while the related quote or order is live, and afterwards so you can reorder and so we can handle a warranty claim. Ask us to delete a specific file and we will, unless it belongs to an order still inside the retention period above.
- Contact form messages — kept while we are dealing with them and for a reasonable period after.
5. What you can ask for
Email operations@tensorcut.in and you can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct anything wrong — most of it you can also edit yourself in your profile;
- delete your account and the personal information attached to it, subject to the records we are legally required to keep;
- delete a specific uploaded drawing;
- stop sending you anything that is not about an order you placed.
We will confirm receipt and respond within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity first — an instruction to delete an account is not one we act on from an unverified email.
6. Security
Traffic to the site is encrypted in transit. Passwords are stored hashed, not encrypted and not in readable form, so nobody at TensorCut can read yours. File storage buckets are private and not publicly listable. Access to the production database is restricted to the people who operate the service.
No system is perfectly secure, and we would rather say so than claim otherwise. If we discover a breach affecting your information, we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
7. Cookies
We use the cookies the site needs to work: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and a CSRF token that protects forms against cross-site submission. Both are strictly necessary — the site cannot function without them. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
8. Children
TensorCut is a business-to-business service and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes will be notified by email to the address on your account.
Who you are contracting with
These terms are between you and TensorCut Technologies Pvt. Ltd., registered at Bangalore, Karnataka, India, operating the website tensorcut.in ("TensorCut", "we", "us").
