Laser cutting in Bangalore, delivered across India

TensorCut is an online laser cutting service for sheet metal parts. You upload the flat pattern as a DXF, pick the material, thickness and quantity, and the price is worked out from your actual drawing — the metal it uses, the length of every cut and the number of pierces. No waiting a day for a quote, and no minimum order.

A laser cuts a narrow kerf of 0.1–0.3 mm, so fine detail survives and the edge usually needs no secondary finishing. That makes it the default choice for brackets, panels, enclosures, gaskets, signage and prototype parts, from a single piece to production runs.

How online laser cutting works

  1. Upload your DXF. One part per file, drawn 1:1 in millimetres. Each upload is checked for holes too small to cut and parts too big for the sheet.
  2. Choose material, thickness, finish and quantity. The price updates as you change them, GST included.
  3. Pay and track. Checkout adds courier delivery to your PIN code and shows an estimated delivery date. Our team checks every job before it ships.

Designing parts for laser cutting

  • Smallest hole: roughly the material thickness. Smaller holes cone and close as they cut.
  • Draw the finished profile. The kerf is accounted for, so do not offset your lines.
  • Close every outline. Gaps in a profile leave the part attached to the sheet.
  • Sheet size: parts up to 1250 × 2500 mm cut from standard sheet; up to 1500 × 3000 mm from our largest.

The full set of limits, and plasma cutting for thicker steel, is on the capabilities page. Need the parts bent or welded after cutting? See sheet metal bending and assembly and welding.

Laser cutting FAQ

What file do I need for an instant laser cutting quote?

A DXF of the flat part, drawn 1:1 in millimetres. Upload it and the price appears in seconds. If you only have a DWG, PDF or STEP file, send it through the quote request form and our team will price it.

What thicknesses can you laser cut?

From 0.8 mm to 12 mm, depending on the material. The table on this page lists the range for each one.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

No. One piece is fine. A small minimum charge per order covers machine setup, and it is included in the price you see before you pay.

How is the laser cutting price calculated?

From the weight of metal your part uses, the total cutting length, the number of pierces (each hole or cut-out starts with one) and any finish you choose. You see the full price, with delivery, before paying.

How fast is delivery?

Small quantities are cut in about 2 working days, then shipped by courier anywhere in India. Checkout shows an estimated delivery date for your address.

What is the largest part you can laser cut?

Up to 1500 × 3000 mm, the size of the largest sheet we stock.

Where are you based?

TensorCut is based in Bangalore and delivers laser cut parts across India.
