About TensorCut

TensorCut is an online sheet metal fabrication service operating in India. We turn a CAD file into a priced, manufactured part — without the back-and-forth of emailing drawings and waiting days for a quote.

What we do

TensorCut is an instant-quoting and manufacturing platform for custom sheet metal parts. Customers upload a 2D or 3D CAD file — DXF, DWG, STEP, IGES or STL — and our system analyses the geometry automatically: it measures the bounding box, calculates total cut length, counts holes, cutouts and pierce points, and flags design-for-manufacture issues such as undersized holes or parts that exceed standard sheet sizes.

That analysis is priced immediately against the selected material, thickness, cutting process and surface finish, so a buyer sees a firm price in seconds rather than waiting for a manual estimate. Parts that are too complex to price automatically are routed to our team for a manual quote instead of returning a misleading number.

How manufacturing works

Once an order is placed and paid for, the job is dispatched to a vetted manufacturing partner with the capability and capacity to produce it. Partners receive a complete job pack containing the drawing and a specification summary, and confirm the work before production begins. Order status is tracked through cutting, forming, finishing and quality inspection, so the customer can see where their parts are at any point.

Processes and materials

We currently offer CNC laser cutting and plasma cutting, with surface finishing options including mill finish, shot blasting, powder coating, zinc galvanizing and anodizing. Common materials include mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium across a range of sheet thicknesses. Because production runs through a partner network rather than a single fixed shop, capability and capacity expand as the network grows.

Who it's for

TensorCut is built for engineers, product designers, fabrication buyers and small manufacturers who need custom metal parts made to their own drawings — from single prototypes through to production batches. There is no minimum order quantity, and every order is invoiced with GST for Indian business buyers.

Manufacturing partners

We work with fabrication shops across India that have laser or plasma cutting capacity. Partners receive qualified, pre-paid work with clear specifications and agreed payouts, and manage their jobs through a dedicated partner portal. If you operate a fabrication facility and want to join the network, get in touch.
